The Cottage is composed of 1500' sq ft, 2 bedroom 1 bath, full modern kitchen and a wrap around porch. Enjoy the sounds of birds and whistling tree leaves in this peaceful oasis. Sleeps 4. Your Southwest Florida vacation just got more enchanting! Our old Florida artsy cottage is in the country, right in the middle of town and only minutes from dining, shopping, recreation and our award winning beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel. The stylish ship lap throughout and clean design presents you with cottage- bungalow living at it's finest.
THE GROUNDS
Take a step back in time as you enter The Oak View Cottage and gardens. Its charming, serene and authentic with it's expansive Florida native garden, trellis, walking paths, pond, cypress tree garden and sprawling oaks. Take a load off and swing on our old fashioned swing or rock with the rhythm of the rain on the porch on a summer afternoon. The 2 acre property is home to over 40 autograph trees, endangered cypress trees, oak trees, palms and sea grapes. There are always butterflies floating around, cardinals splashing in the pond and ducks flying over. It's an enclave of romance, nature and peace. If you are planning a garden wedding in Fort Myers, this is your dream location! We are different from other rental properties and venues because we specialize in more private and intimate events for smaller celebrations.

We have multiple ceremony sites available on our rustic estate as well as open outdoor space for your family reunion, baby shower or other celebration. Our wrap around porch is the perfect setting for a Mother's Day brunch, rehearsal dinner or baby shower. Only available for groups less than 50.
